Mahopac woman steals ID of eldery Somers resident, troopers say

SOMERS — A Mahopac woman with a history of scamming people has been charged with stealing the identity of an 86-year-old Somers woman and using it to ring up more than $23,000 in unauthorized credit-card charges, state police said today.
