Security Guardian Advanced Encryption Device
Security Guardian Advanced Encryption Device

The Security Guardian is a USB powered Encryption Device. It allows a user to
encrypt up to 128GB of data on a virtual disk created by the Security Guardian
software. Encryption is accomplished via AES 256-bit encryption. AES was announced by National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) as US
Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) PUB 197 in November 26, 2001
after a 5-year standardization process. On August 29, 2007, Security Guardian was validated as conforming to the AES (Advanced Encryption Standard), as specified in Federal Information Processing Standard Publication 197. Certificate number 628 applies.
Security Guardian also provides additional protection via Strong Two-Factor
Authentication. A combination of something you have (Security Guardian Key) and something you know (Password) is Two-Factor Authentication, and is much
better than typical password software protection. When the Security Guardian is
removed from your PC or Laptop, the virtual drive and all data contained therein
are no longer visible or accessible. Only you may access the virtual drive and its
data via your unique Security Guardian Key. All Security Guardian Devices have
their own unique hardware password, and this prevents any other Security Guardian Device from accessing your data. Thanks to Security Guardian, you can be assured that personal information and customer information is secure. Additional Items included: User Manual & Rescue Password Driver Disc & Rescue Program
