The Slidell Police Department made the following arrests Aug. 26-30:

A Covington man, who was a contract truck driver for the U.S. Post Office, pled guilty to one count of theft of mail in U.S. District Judge Jay Zainey’s courtroom Thursday.

A disbarred attorney remained in jail Friday on a combined bond of $400,000 after being accused in DuPage and Will counties of impersonating a Naperville lawyer.
